California State University: Tenure-Track in Organizational Behavior

Position

California State University, Fullerton, seeks tenure-track faculty for Fall 2014 in Organizational Behavior with emphasis in either Leadership or Human Resource Management. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate/graduate classes in OB, Leadership, or HR; scholarly and creative activities which result in publication of highquality refereed journal articles; departmental and University service, and student advisement.

Qualifications

  • Candidates must have completed by August 10, 2014 all requirements for a doctorate degree (Ph.D.) with specialty in OB, Leadership, or HR from an accredited institution.
  • Ability to work effectively with a wide and culturally diverse range of students and faculty is required.
  • Evidence/potential for publications in high quality journals is expected.
  • Experience as an effective teacher is highly preferred.

The Department

The management department has 20 tenured and tenure-track faculty supplemented by several part-time and full-time adjunct faculty. Qualified applicants for this position should have a Ph.D. degree in Organizational Behavior/Human Resource Management from an accredited AACSB business school or other related fields from prestigious universities, completed no later than August, 2014. Both graduating and experienced candidates are welcomed to apply. Elizabethtown College: Assistant/Associate Professor of Management

The Elizabethtown College Department of Business invites applications for a tenure-track appointment as Assistant or Associate Professor of Management beginning in Fall 2014.

Applicants should hold a Ph.D. in a business field (e.g., management, marketing, logistics or related field) or should expect to complete all requirements for the degree by Fall 2014. Candidates should have teaching experience at the undergraduate level and be committed to maintaining an active scholarly agenda.

Candidates must demonstrate ability to teach quantitative methods. Fields of specialization are open, but consideration will be given to those who can teach Supply Chain Management, Operations Management and other advanced management courses. Candidates with industry experience and a thorough understanding of technology and computer applications are encouraged to apply.
