Elizabethtown College: Assistant/Associate Professor of Management

The Elizabethtown College Department of Business invites applications for a tenure-track appointment as Assistant or Associate Professor of Management beginning in Fall 2014.

Applicants should hold a Ph.D. in a business field (e.g., management, marketing, logistics or related field) or should expect to complete all requirements for the degree by Fall 2014. Candidates should have teaching experience at the undergraduate level and be committed to maintaining an active scholarly agenda.

Candidates must demonstrate ability to teach quantitative methods. Fields of specialization are open, but consideration will be given to those who can teach Supply Chain Management, Operations Management and other advanced management courses. Candidates with industry experience and a thorough understanding of technology and computer applications are encouraged to apply.

Elizabethtown College offers baccalaureate degrees in accounting, business administration, economics, and international business, all within a strong liberal-arts curriculum. The Department of Business is housed in the newly-constructed James B. Hoover Center for Business, a $5.3 million facility that provides state-of-the-art, technology-assisted classrooms, office suites and meeting rooms. Located in southeastern Pennsylvania, the College is within driving distance of Philadelphia, Baltimore, Washington DC and New York City.

VHB Kurs zum Thema “Inventory Research”

statt. Der Kurs wird von Prof. Yale T. Herer (Technion – Israel Institute of Technology) geleitet. Im Kurs werden fortgeschrittene Modelle des Supply Chain Management behandelt. Die Zahl der Teilnehmer ist auf 12 begrenzt. Die Teilnahmegebühr beträgt EUR 600 Euro. Anmeldungen werden bis zum 31. Januar 2013 an doktorandenprogramm(at)vhbonline(dot)org erbeten.
