Position title: Global/International Business

Description: The School of Business at the University of Vermont is seeking applicants for an Assistant Professor or Associate Professor position in management/international business. This will be a full-time, tenure-tracked or tenured appointment beginning in the fall of 2014. Candidates should have earned a doctorate by the start of the contract period. The ideal candidate is expected to undertake an active research program resulting in publications in top quality journals in management, strategy, international business and related fields.

Global business is one of the three major themes in the School of Business’s recently redesigned curriculum (the other themes being sustainable business and entrepreneurship). The successful candidate is expected to teach international management and increase the visibility of the global business area at the School of Business.

The School of Business Administration cultivates and supports a multidisciplinary faculty of 30 tenured or tenure-track faculty publishing in top quality management, strategy, and international business journals and dedicated to management education and practice. An AACSB-accredited school, we offer B.S.B.A., M.Acc., and M.B.A. programs.

The University of Vermont is located in Burlington, VT, a city that sits on the east side of Lake Champlain with the Green Mountains to the east and the Adirondack Mountains across the lake to the west.
