2 Job vacancies: Post-Doc Position (Full-time or part-time) & Research Assistant/PhD Student (Part-time: 50%), both in Berlin and/or Paris. Topic for both: Women in Finance

These positions mentioned above are available starting 1 October 2023 or as soon as possible after that at the newly created Sponsored Chair “Women in Finance” at ESCP Business School’s Berlin campus and/or Paris campus (Prof. Marion Festing/Prof. Almudena Canibaño).

Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include involvement in research on the topic of ‘Women in Finance’ and support of the management of the chair. You will actively participate in international research and publication projects, as well as work with renowned companies. Further, your task includes supporting the organization of events and the communication about the Chair and its activities. In addition, we expect you to be actively involved and committed to raising the profile of ESCP Business School. For the PhD position, participation in our European Doctoral Program at the Berlin or Paris campus and completing a PhD thesis (Dr. rer. pol./PhD) are highly recommended. The positions are either based in Berlin or Paris and might include a stay at the other campus.

Requirements
We expect you to have completed your studies in business administration, preferably with a focus on Human Resource Management, Organizational Behavior and/or International Management. We would also like to encourage graduates from other disciplines (e.g. Psychology, Sociology) to apply if you see points of connection in terms of content. For the post-doc position, we expect publications in internationally renowned journals and a specialization that contributes to the Chair topic of ‘Women in Finance’, e.g. diversity and inclusion or careers.

You also have a high level of enthusiasm for scientific work, a good overview of the theoretical foundations of the field as well as knowledge of empirical social research. Excellent English and French language skills are expected as well as an interest in topics related to international research.
