Research Assistant / PhD Candidate (m/f/d)
(50% to 75% of regular working hours; salary according to 13 TV-L)
or
Post-doctoral researcher / Assistant professor (m/f/d)
(100% of regular working hours; salary according to A 13)

The position is limited to a maximum of six years with the goal of a doctorate or habilitation.  This is a qualification position in the sense of the „Wissenschaftszeitvertragsgesetz (WissZeitVG)“.

Your responsibilities include:
A diverse and challenging field of work awaits you. In research, you will work on theory-based empirical research projects and write scientific articles for presentation at international conferences and publication in internationally recognized journals. In teaching, you will design tutorials and supervise seminar papers and theses. You will also be involved in the management of the department. You will be part of a committed and cosmopolitan team that works collegially and independently. Requirements profile:

  • Above-average degree in business administration, ideally with a major in human resource management, psychology with a major in work, organizational or business psychology, sociology with a major in the sociology/science of work
  • Very good to good knowledge of empirical research methodology (quantitative and/or qualitative) and corresponding application experience or the drive to acquire this knowledge
  • Applications from abroad are particularly welcome. The position requires fluent English skills, additional German language skills are a prerequisite for employment (in individual cases, German language skills can be acquired within the first two years of employment)
  • Independent, self-reliant, cooperative and committed way of working; ability to work in a team
