The Faculty of Business Administration and Economics is seeking to fill the following
position: W1 – Juniorprofessorship (f/m/d) in International Management with Tenure Track (W2). Their field of research is in one or several areas of international management (including foreign business systems and institutions), preferably focusing on more strategic topics such as global strategy, multinational enterprises, internationalization processes, foreign entry strategies, or international entrepreneurship. The Junior Professorship is an integral part of the Management Department, which offers a research environment that focuses primarily on quantitative methodologies, applying analytical, empirical and experimental methods. The candidate is expected to work in and contribute to joint research projects, including the Department’s evolving research programme in “Unternehmertum”. The successful candidate will teach various modules in international management in the faculty’s International Business Studies (IBS) programmes at bachelor and master level, as well as in other programmes, such as Management (M.Sc.). Although the teaching language is English, the candidate is also fluent in German. The courses cover international management as well as comparative institutions. The IBS programmes focus on particular languages. It is therefore advantageous for the candidate to have some expertise in the business institutions of countries with English, French or Spanish as official languages.
