PhD Project on Talent Management in Family Business
Succession planning in family business have attracted several researchers over the last decades. We are looking for a recently graduated master student to explore the topic including a talent management perspective. We intend to describe the succession process of family firms, outlining the distinctive characteristics of family businesses in attracting/motivating, selecting, developing and retaining family talents.
ESCP Business School, one of the best ranked Business School in Europe, is seeking outstanding candidates for the Ph.D. Programme in Management and Finance. We have developed a four-year programme with specializations in the different areas of management to help each student reach international standards of research quality.
The project will be supervised by Assoc. Prof. Chiara Succi (Torino campus), with co-supervisors Prof. Marion Festing (Berlin campus) and Prof. Maral Muratbekova (Paris campus). The project is going to be organized over four years. The student will spend the first year mainly in Paris and the following three years mainly in Torino, travelling among different campuses, when needed. Additional Information
A research master in management or a related field is an asset but not compulsory. The candidate should present a resume, motivation and recommendations letters, and any research material that might be useful (dissertation, paper…). Good working knowledge in English is required and basic knowledge in Italian is suggested, but not compulsory.
