The 34th EGOS Colloquium takes place from July 5th-8th 2018 at the EBS in Tallinn. The convenors of the sub-theme 33 invite contributions that enhance our understanding the nature and impact of heuristics across and beyond management
disciplines. Questions of interest are, for example:
- How do heuristics shape cognition and behavior at different levels such as individual,
group, organization and inter-organizationally? - How do heuristics develop and evolve over time? What is the role of their environment?
- How are organizational heuristics linked to neighboring fields, such as alternative
dynamics and processes of managerial and organizational cognition, simple rules,
routines or artificial intelligence?
Convenors: Wolfgang H. Güttel (Johannes Kepler University Linz), Moritz Loock (University of St. Gallen), Madeleine Rauch (European University Viadrina)
Deadline for the submission of short papers: 08.01.2018
