The Department of Business Administration at the University of Zurich is one of the leading research and teaching facilities in the German-speaking world. The department offers a vibrant and stimulating environment
for a post-doctoral researcher.
Starting as soon as possible and initially tenable for three years.
The University of Zurich is interested in outstanding scholars who will collaborate with the postdoctoral and doctoral researchers. Applicants are expected to participate in externally funded research activity and to contribute to some teaching. The main research interests include economics of education and personnel economics.
The position is strongly research oriented and post-doctoral researchers are welcome to develop their own area of research within economics of education or personnel economics. The Department offers a very competitive compensation package with generous funding of research related activities (conference visits, data, etc.)
Applicants should have:
- A doctorate in business economics or economics
- strong skills in econometrics
- scholarly publications in the field of economics of education and personnel economics
- excellent knowledge of English (fluent in spoken and written English), German desirable
- desire to be part of a closely collaborating team
- Applicants are expected to develop a strong research record aimed at publications in international top journals.
