The Management and Human Resources Department at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, College of Business, is pleased to be recruiting applicants for a full-time, tenure-track faculty member at the assistant level to teach in one of two areas: 1) International Business OR 2) Human Resources Management.
In addition to competitive salary and benefits, we offer opportunities for research funding at both the College and University levels through a Faculty Development Program that is unique within the UW System. The MHR Department provides a friendly and collegial environment. We are committed to helping each other achieve our goals for balance in our academic careers, as well as in our personal lives. Course scheduling is done by reverse seniority to give recent hires preference in what and when they teach.
The UW Oshkosh College of Business is AACSB accredited at both the undergraduate and graduate level. We are the UW System’s largest evening/online MBA program. Our location in the middle of the Fox River Valley, the fastest growing and most industrially diverse area of the state, is ideal for business education. With a student body of over 13,000, the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh is both a major undergraduate campus and a regional graduate center in the statewide University of Wisconsin System. Bounded by lakes, rivers and nearby forested recreational areas, Oshkosh offers ample opportunity for recreation and sports. Madison, Green Bay, Milwaukee, and Chicago are all within easy driving distance.
Formal review of applications will begin August 1 and continue until the position is filled. We will be interviewing at the upcoming Academy of Management Meetings. We encourage interested candidates to send a letter of application, teaching and research philosophy statements, a curriculum vita, and a list of references to:
