Excellence in teaching is valued and teaching or training experience is required. The holder of this position will play an important role in the planning and management of courses and certificate programs. The successful candidate must be able to undertake a variety of administrative responsibilities in addition.The position is intended to be filled from February, 2016 (or later) for 2.5 years. Continuation of the appointment beyond this period of time is possible.
Job description:
You will take a pro-active role in enhancing University of Bamberg’s reputation for high quality and innovative teaching. In detail you are expected to:
- Teach 215 hours per year at the graduate and undergraduate level, in a variety of formats.
- Lead in course and curricula design and ongoing course and program assessment.
- Manage scheduling of classes and assignment of faculty
- Advise and mentor students.
- Participate in different services of the Chair of Human Resource Management
- Maintain academic and professional qualifications and industry Connections.
