Requirements
The ideal candidate holds a PhD in Psychology, has a strong interest and solid skills in lifespan developmental research. S/he is experienced in at least one of the following methodological areas: Experimental design and data analysis, longitudinal data analysis, experience sampling / diary method. S/he is fluent in German as well as in English and has good scientific communication skills (oral and written). Further, s/he has excellent teamwork skills.

Tasks description
The project Management of Multiple Roles Across Adulthood is part of a larger project on professional trajectories in the new Swiss National Centre of Competence in Research LIVES. The multiple roles’ project is a collaborative effort of Bettina S. Wiese (University of Basel) and Alexandra M. Freund (University of Zurich). The main goal is to study how adults successfully manage the demands of multiple goals in the domains of work, family, friends, and leisure. The focus is on motivational and emotional processes that help regulating the potential conflicts between multiple goals or support their facilitative relationship across adulthood both in terms of everyday functioning and in terms of biographical decisions.
