Position summary. The College of Business at Oregon State University invites applications from qualified candidates for a full-time, tenure-track position in Organizational Behavior beginning Fall Quarter, 2014, at the Assistant Professor level. Teaching interest and/or expertise in Leadership is required for this position.
Job requirements. A Ph.D. from an accredited (AACSB) University, or ABD with the expectation for completion by the start date, is required. Successful candidates will have a demonstrated ability to conduct independent research in Organizational Behavior/Human Resource Management resulting in high quality publications, as well as the potential to deliver high-quality courses at both the undergraduate and graduate level. Preferred qualifications include interest in leadership, innovation & creativity, or group performance; demonstrated ability to collaborate in scholarly pursuits with colleagues located both locally and remotely; relevant professional non-academic work experience and the ability to develop strong linkages with the business community; and a demonstrable commitment to promoting and enhancing diversity.
